we have listened to what parents have said about what they want from the newsletter and made some changes….

Our new building opens

Our new building opened on Monday to staff and we were joined on Thursday by our students. Everybody is excited by the building and all the opportunities the new facilities will provide.

As well as our new and fully kitted classrooms there are also great features such as our new dance studios, Drama studios and Sports hall.

We also have some great new outdoor areas which are ideal for the current nice weather, we have a 6th form terrace and a terrace near the food hall where students can eat their lunch and socialise during their breaks.

Reminder for Students

Please don’t bring birthday cakes into school
I’d like to remind parents that students should not bring birthday cakes into school to share with their friends as these are often broken up and eaten by hand  which is both unhygienic and leaves food waste littering the school. It’s lovely to celebrate birthdays with cards and some students bring in a balloon to put on their chair but it’s not appropriate to bring in birthday cakes. Thank you for your support.

Don't forget to follow us on Twitter for more pictures and news as we familiarise ourselves with the new building
