Girls at Sydenham School once again achieved the school’s best ever GCSE results

We are all proud of their achievement as they hit 66% 5 GCSEs A*-C including English and Maths beating their previous best of 64% last year! This year’s GCSE results have significantly exceeded the Lewisham and national averages and they continue to rise year after year. SFH6 (the joint sixth form with Forest Hill School) achieved its best ever pass rate at 99% for A levels with over 100 girls going on to university.
Congratulations go to all the girls at Sydenham who have made this success happen and to all the teachers and parents who have supported them over the last five years of secondary school. For some getting 5 A*-C was an amazing achievement and their success is a reflection of all the effort and hard work they and you have put into their learning.

Special mention must be made of the following students who achieved 10 or more A & A* grades at GCSE:

Dmitri Short ridge, Florence Starr, Amelia Williams, Chandra Agora-Burns, Emma Savage; Moonbeam Baja, Aida Baal, Amelia Bristow, Katarina Dobrovolska, Shenade Hillman, Boriana Ivanova, Zoe Macilraith, Helena McAndrew-Noon, Simone Mitchell, Kirstin Perry, Sophia Self and many more gaining good, strong results that have really added value to their lives and their choices for the future.
